Self Introduction

   Hi everyone! My name is Kyle Kopta, and I am a senior in the DTC program. I moved here to the Tri-Cities from Hermiston last year to start this program, and I’ve loved it so far! I’ve taken to photography and video the most, but I love to explore new ideas and mediums whenever I have the opportunity to. I am also currently working as the ASWSUTC Graphic Designer, which has opened up many opportunities and learning experiences for me in the field.

   In my free time, I love watching movies and listening to music. My favorite artists are David Bowie, The Smiths, and Radiohead. Over the years, I’ve accumulated a fairly large collection of records and cassettes, and it grows every year (even though my wallet doesn’t appreciate it most days).

   Over the course of my time in this program, the classes that exposed me to new concepts and pushed me out of my comfort zone have proved to be the most worthwhile. As I look over the topic we will be discussing in the syllabus, I’m excited that this will be one of those classes!
